Ombré: Beige...To Blue

Beige... Ombré... 

Both words come from French; 'beige' originally meant natural unbleached wool and 'ombré' means literally 'shaded'. 

In this particular case a beautiful oatmeal beige hue gradually blends into blue and navy.

It is also the very first ombré piece in my wardrobe, and I guess I should blame the winning triumvirate of beige, blue and cashmere... And my friend Susan for wearing it first.
