Expertly Beige... for the Planet...

"Style is the perfection of a point of view" - Richard Eberhart

Embracing mindful shopping, which eventually leads to less consumerism and contributes to more sustainable planet, is easier than you think.

Here are some of my thoughts on the subject:

Consider becoming a Beige Classicist.

That's because the best things in fashion come in beige!

Iconic Trench Coat, luxurious camel hair coat, cosy cashmere sweaters or relaxing weekend chinos...

If there is one word to describe them all, it has to be 'timeless'.

The classic Trench Coat for example, true symbol of effortless style and elegance, is as relevant today as it was 10, 20 or even 70 years ago.

Exercise JOY-per-use attitude.

First of all, find your signature item and wear it often.

Develop a consistent style of dress and incorporate your signature item. This will help you to convey self-confidence and make you feel invulnerable.

Most people are familiar with the cost-per-use use approach to justify their costlier than usual purchases. I want to propose a fresher perspective so you can do something for your overall wellbeing - try the concept of JOY-per-use attitude.

Create a capsule wardrobe.

If you work five days a week, create five outfits per season - you will wear each outfit just about four times a month (in case you are worried about being seen wearing the same clothes).

Have fun with weekends and holidays...
